Tyre wear | Legal limit
No worries, everything is planned!
The tyres have wear indicators located between the tread grooves, measuring 1.6 mm (the legal limit in Belgium). When the tread reaches this level, your tyres must be changed.
You can spot them thanks to the inscription TWI on the sidewall of the tyre. You can also turn your wheels to see them more easily.
Small tip : If the difference with the indicator is only 1 to 2 mm, replace your tyres, as they drain water less effectively. For your information, a new tyre has between 6 and 8 mm of tread depth.

Tyre size | the guide
Nothing could be simpler: look on the sidewall of the tyre.
Imagining that your tyre is the one in the photo, to order via the shop, you just need to enter 215/60 R17 96H in the search bar, and you can then select the model of your choice.
The last two indications may be larger. For example, a tyre 215/60 R17 98Z will also pass the technical inspection, but it will be a bit more expensive.

Which tyre brand?
Choosing a tyre brand is often a matter of preference. In practice, only passionate drivers really feel the differences between certain references.
Our advice: choose according to your budget, while favouring a well-known brand. Established manufacturers generally offer better performance in terms of safety, particularly in braking, where a few metres can make a real difference.
We generally offer three categories of tyres according to your needs and budget. You will find on the right an example of classification with some of the brands we offer.
The European tyre label:
- Energy efficiency : Rated from A to E, the more economical the tyre, the less fuel you consume. Choose an A if you want to save on the road!
- Wet grip : Also rated from A to E. A tyre rated A stops shorter in the rain, ensuring better safety.
- Noise level : Indicated in decibels (dB). The fewer waves on the label, the quieter the tyre.
- Noise level class : Indicates the sound performance of the tyre, from A to C, A being the quietest.
- Tyre for snowy conditions : The symbol certifies that the tyre is suitable for winter conditions.
- Tyre for severe ice conditions : Indicates that the tyre is specially designed for optimal grip on icy roads.
